    Sasha and Diggers - Fabric

Does anyone know why these two have not made their usual apperance at Fabric this year? Last time either of them were there was May and Feb '05.

I heard a rumour they had fallen out with managment. Anyone know if this is true?

i heard from a respected source that Sasha will no longer play at fabric because of their shift in music policy. No idea about Digweed though.

? Fabrics shift in Music Policy? What policy does Fabric have? that sounds weak.

Fabric doesn't need huge names to fill the club week in week out. They do have a strange music policy, works well though.

So what's that policy? They only want a certain type of genre played?

no, they don't want the commercial shit that sasha plays and all the dicks it will attract (not my opinion btw)

Quite a bold move really, considering that by booking Sasha they would guarantee a sell out and thus more money

Fabric does seem to have gone very much down the techno/tech house road so i guess this is their music policy.

no, i don't think it's anything like the above mentioned.

i know sasha's company fell out with fabric, but i don't think it was a bad parting . diggers plays there once or twice a year. i assume he'll be back soon.

fabric is packed whoever is playing, ive never been in there and its been less than busy. I dont know many other clubs where there there can still be a queue at 3am. They dont need the likes of Sasha or Digweed, and to be fair on a saturday they could (and frequently do) put on a bunch of relatively unknown minimal djs from europe and the place will be buzzing.

i guess its not a music policy shift, more of a restatement that they are an underground club attracting the best in new music
