I'm mainly into first person shooters, I hate role playing games (maybe because I haven't tried to get into them) and sports games other than car racing games. Ghost Recon is one I'm gonna try and snag, have played older releases on the PS2 and really enjoyed them.

I love the old fashined controller. no keyboard and mouse, they simply add 1 million keystrokes to add funcationality such as wiping your ass on screen which I can do without.

Point + Aim + Click

End of story.

one of the reasons i didn't want to switch was i don't like the controllers to play fps

yes the demo is sick.... the realism is better than GOW imo

depends on what your into. some of the goodies:

condemned
GRAW
Gears
R6 Vegas
COD2-3
Splinter Cell is decent
FEAR is decent (not worth 60 bucks)

Start with those.

Gears of War and Rainbow six vegas are the two best games imho.
