A 9-year-old boy in Volusia County, Fla., was charged with battery on a school teacher -- the fourth time he has attacked a teacher, police told Local 6 News. Investigators said the boy attacked a teacher Thursday at Hearst Elementary in Holly Hill, Fla."Deputies also say it is the fourth time the child has attacked the teacher in the last two weeks," Local 6's Jacquie Sosa said.
The severity of the teachers' injuries was not known.

students in those grades do need to get their asses whipped. my mom just retired early because she couldn't handle the inner city kids in tampa. shes been teaching 35 years and up untill she was stuck teaching these total shitbags she loved her job.

Actually it's not 'only in Florida'. My wife is a Florida public school teacher and receives regular reports of incidents like this that happen across the nation. They then discuss as a task force how to prevent and/or handle such situations.

I don't know how much there is to discuss...no matter what "judgment call" one may use, it gets you in trouble in some capacity...it's beyond Catch-22, it's Catch-All or something...

I am guessing very hard since teachers aren't allowed to touch the children or the parents scream some sort of assult/harrassment. I wouldn't want to be a teacher these days as the children have the upper hand
