man have these last few days been over dramatic?!

i'm sorry that the link had to be taken down but lee did not approve the release of this set. i carelessly gave the mix to the club owners who believed that when lee said he really liked the set on his way to the airport, that provided the approval they needed to let it out. in actuality lee had much higher hopes for this set and so did i.

ultimately this is my fault completely as i should never have let the set out of my control until lee gave an official okay, but i broke my number one rule by passing it on to somebody that i didn't know and trust before i got approval to do so. as many of you know, i've had the opportunity to record some great sets over the years and i've always appreciated the privilage to do so. i have abused that privilage in this case and i apologize to all involved for doing so.

hopefully this set will make its way out to the public in a proper fashion sooner or later, but that is up to lee.

Yup yup. Decided to spread the wealth since it was already leaked and spreading anyways. Even Lee said that it's too late to start taking it down since even his friends are posting it globally.

BarryIllfingas...sorry about what happend to this set man, I know you and Lee had high hopes for it and unfortunately because of this miscommunication we had this. But looking on the bright side: Burridge just gained a plethora of new fans because of this set. And attention. Next time at Footwork will be even better. I only hope though, that relations between the owners, the dj, and yourself didn't suffer cause of this drama and you continue recording sets.
