    DIGWEED @ SOUND-BAR, CHICAGO --->Top Notch Set!!

    I literally just walked in the door from Digweed @ Sound-Bar and I can't sleep so I thought I'd let you all know how it went. --The night started off with a few opening dj's. James Lauer's set absolutely rocked. Great mixing, great energy--very impressive, a guy you should definitely keep an eye on. James was followed by Desyn Masiello. Desyn also impressed me. His mixing was top-notch, and I felt he really worked the crowd quite well, blowing it up rediculously hard (the hardest drop all night) and coming right back down with very smooth mixing; he set the night off right. Then, the man himself. Master Digweed. John started the night in typical Digweed fashion, deep, dark mixing, with enourmous basslines that dropped one after the other. Another flawless set for John that made it worth my 5 hour drive to come here. To all those going to Crobar, NYC tomorrow, no worries. You should all be in for a great night. ---By the way, I will post pics from the show sometime this weekend for all those who are interested!!

      P.S.-------------Jimmy Van M sighting at Sound-bar, Chicago------just hanging out in the booth with Digweed, Desyn, and the rest of PURE. I didn't think it was him, but he responded to 'Jimmy Van M' when I addressed him. Very random.

        I know for a fact he never played filth, I also didn't hear Lonestar-New Kicks----the other 2, I'm not familiar with--maybe you could point me in their direction and I would let you know. It should however be noted that I was downstairs for 2 or 3 tracks, so he could have played them, but not likely.

          I figured out what tracks you are talking about (from the hotmix and beirut), and no he did not play any of them barring the 2 or 3 records I was out of the room.
