    dirty war

    im already getting tired of the ads on tv about how bad this guy is and that guy did that and the other used drugs ..... looks like the option they are giving the voters is to vote for the less of two evils so to speak ......

    i think this is not the way to aproach the voters, especially young ones, in order to encourage them to actually check their option and go out and vote...... it actually turns me off on the hole voting issue

    Yeah, but for all the public bitches about the negative campaigning, the reality is that they work, so I wouldn't expect anything to change any time soon. Remember back in '04, Kerry had to deal with those Swiftboat guys and for the longest time, tried to stay above the fray. By the time he realized he had to respond, the damage was done and he couldn't recover.

      respond is one thing ... attack the same way he was being attacked is another ..... i think that is vicius and does no good to anyone

          but dont you think a lot of people feel this way ? is it not in their best interest to get us to actually get really involved in the process ?

            I think a lot of people dislike negative ads, but at the same time, I think those same people are affected by them and vote anyway.

                I hate the ads. I just makes me want to stay home and not vote at all.
