Good one, Scotch can only come from Scotland, Whiskey from Tennessee and Bourbon from Kentucky, Sake from Japan...

Vodka does have a bit of an identity crisis.

        Stoli all the way

www.thedrinkshop.com seems to come up with the goods, and highlights the identity crisis of vodka:

some seriosly vodkas already mentioned. i got a couple of favourites also.

Vodka Vera (estonian): probably the cheapest looking vodka you ever seen, actually it probably IS cheaper than any vodka you ever drank. still pretty good imo. extra plus for the extremely cheap label.. the girl is kinda hot tho!

Vikingfjord (norway): cant describe it better than they do..
Capstone International is proud to announce that Vikingfjord Vodka, the super-premium Vodka from Norway, won the 2005 Gold Medal for Vodkas at the International Wine & Spirits Competition. This crisp, fresh potato spirit was called ?The Best Tasting Vodka in the World?. Additionally, Vikingfjord just recently won the Gold Medal at the San Francisco Wine & Spirits Competition. Vikingfjord is distilled through a unique 6-column process with water from the 6000 year old Jostedal Glacier.
