yes, it's great as long as:
your carpet is not too thick
the thing can not fall from a staircase for example,
it can't be blocked under a sofa
your dog does go chasing it

I have an older version of that and with the exception of riseandshine's correct issues, it actually does a surprisingly good job...but just make sure to get the corners on your own, it can't get in there and tends to push some of the dirt that way.

I saw a grass mower in action once. Freakiest thing. Was playing golf. Came to one of the tee boxes. A house was right next to it. We look and there is this little robo thing cutting the dudes yard. Seemed to work.

yes. very very cool toy. and yes it does work. took me a while to figure out, but once you figure it its strenghts you can set it up perfectly. I have the floor washing one the 5900.
