    Interesting S&D Interview

    Taken from 3D World.com

    Link to story

    Found this bit especially interesting:

    In addition to plotting Involver 2, Sasha is talking of recording another album, the sequel to 2002's airdrawndagger, after vowing not to.

    "I'll definitely be working on an EP early next year and we'll see if it evolves from that - who knows? I just think it's important right now that I get some music out there 'cause a lot has changed musically in the last couple of years and it's important for me to get some music out there to show people where I'm at. I am really excited to be getting back in there and working on some new music 'cause I've got something to say at the moment."
    Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not;
    a sense of humor to console him for what he is.

        "Priding himself as an edutainer, Digweed sustains his passion for DJing by adopting new styles and, in this way, keeps things fresh for partygoers. "I'm not gonna just play a style of music to please my fans, I need to please myself."

        Electro must be pleasing to him

                'As with Sasha, Digweed stays abreast with changing technologies but is perhaps more cautious. "I think you can get lost in technology and lose the element of the tracks you're playing 'cause you've got all this technology around it. I think the key is, Yes, use the technology that excites you the most and that gives you the most enjoyment when you're playing out, but don't lose sight of the fact that it's the music that's coming out of the speakers - which is the most important thing."'

                    Re: Interesting S&D Interview

                    Sasha's personality couldn't be more removed from that of the laidback Digweed. In interviews the inscrutable Coe, manifesting the reserve of the archetypal Englishman, is serious, cerebral and gently laconic. He conveys that detachment behind the decks, too. But then Sasha is famed as a wild party man. Sometimes he's Ralph Fiennes, others Colin Farrell. He laughs at the analogy. "I'm married now. I've definitely calmed down. Maybe 10 years ago I was a bit mental and going out constantly and partying like an animal, but things have calmed down a lot recently."

                    hmm........ i am skeptical about Sasha's comment

                        listening to his remix of seal clubbing. I can see he hasn't moved on much from his airdrawndagger music...the sounds in that track are so similar to his albums sounds.
