    H U G E Demi ID!

A couple of friends and I went to go check out Demi @ Sonic in Toronto, over the weekend... And having never seen him play before, I can easily say he is absolutely AMAZING. The best niche of funky, percussive 80's synth laden tunes, i've ever heard. If you ever get the chance to catch him, you must. The vibe he creates is def. something special. Demi, if you cross this on here... Thankyou!

This is one of many video's from the night, and I haven't been able to get it out of my head since..... Any one else know the name of this tune? Hopefully, it's not too long til it gets released, if it has not been already.

(The quality is a bit harsh to begin with, but you can still make out the tune)

    Cheers,
    Joel.

mate thanks very much for the comments - really was a special night being back at the club after an 18 month absense and despite a ton of tech problems I had beforehand the therpay was being up there unleashing

the track ur asking about is the follow up to King Unique's smash hit earlier this year due out sometime in 2007 - in my opinion tons better and more soul into this

any more videos u have would love to have a copy if that is ok

      one love

Huge tune! Apparently produced by DJ Ossie, to be released on Rowan Blades new label. Can't wait...

That is the awesome thing about being on MS. So many of the dj's that we love are lurking around on here. They almost never post but they do post. JZ, Demi and others are abound on the site.

Cheers to Demi for the killer sets he's been doing. WTG for S.O.S. the best triple threat dj trio.

^ No kidding. Was surprised to see a response from the man himself, and from others (Ie. Luke, Dana etc) directly as well.

Also, while I haven't heard anything more on that tune, I've seen DJ Ossie - Love The Beat listed a few times too. Can't wait 'til that one gets released.

This is another video from this night. Have heard it in a few of the '2 out of 3' SOS sets as of late... Not the same live, but still does the damage. Get your saxophone on!

                          Re: H U G E Demi ID!

we're just like you guys no different - all children of house and slaves to the music so it means a hell of a lot when people are simply into what we're into - we cannot ask for anything more

some great video flashbacks there of that mental night at Sonic too - still can't get over the militant bunker look that was set up for the night and think that dictated the sound for the first two hours or so - ak47 style electronica and jungle rhythms...lol

to put a few dedicating minds at rest, the producer in question is OSSIE - he is part of a group of people making music actually for a promising label called EYZCREAM based in Canada - a bunch of highly spirited motivated music folk doing their bit and leaving their mark -

there are several of his works that have been featured heavily in our individual and SOS sets and expect to here much more from this great talent

i'm up and it's 5am here in tokyo - i felt i lost a day of my life here yesterday as have been passed out since sunday morning post womb gig which was in short every word u can imagine ending with the letterS AL....shall we start a new post on this??? lol

Yep, just the same human beings, just guys that have put a lot of work into producing and dj'ing...and therefore you reap the benefits.

I'm looking forward to getting a few benefits soon. Gotta start small.
