MEDIAFILE - Sticky?

Could there possibly be a sticky made pointing everyone in the direction of Mediafire to upload their sets. Is is superior by far compared to any of the others and not sure many people know about it..

Problem with these upload services is..they pop out of nothing and are gone faster than you can say bankrupt. Also I have yet to see a service which works for everybody...some have problems with Megaupload, others with Sendspace for example. I doubt there is "the one" free upload service on the market or a service that will be there longer than a few months. Also the amount of stickies is insane in the P+R Forum..we need to think about a better solution for the Kiss100 uploads soon anyway.

Definitely agree... anyways we can't tell uploaders which service to use... to each his own. Doesn't really matter what our personal preference is.

I didnt say 'tell' everyone to use mediafire, I just said 'point in the direction of' as it is a new service so lots of people prob dont know about it. Of course it is up to the person to use whatever site they want, but surely preference comes from performance and at the moment Mediafire seems to be the best.

www.sendspace.com has been pretty decent so far ... allows upto 300mb files too

When I first found sendspace I thought they were great! Then they changed the rules, when I emailed them they weren't particularly helpful . They may work better in America where you have a lot more people downloading and keeping a download to the front. However here we have a much smaller number of people doing music d/loads and 7 days inactivity is just ridiculous. They are a lot, lot slower than mediafire. Mediafires multiuploads and downloads is an absolute godsend. I get to line them up before I go to bed and let it rip on off peak for my cable.

I really hope they get the support that allows them to keep this up!!

I also emailed them with a problem, they got back to me really quickly and were very helpful [and it was my fault!!]
