Over the Hedge

watched it last night. it seemed to drag on at the beginning of the movie, but overall it was a good movie. lots of stars in it too... bruce willis, gary shandling, steve carell, wanda sykes, william shatner, nick nolte, eugene levy, avril lavigne, etc. it's worth a watch if you need a G movie

I thought it was a tad predictable and most of the jokes were passable. The best bit in the film was the end when the squirrel (?) went nuts and the Earth slowed down 'cos he was so speeded up. That was the only scene I genuinely enjoyed.

Funny, watched this one last weekend as well. I like animation movies in General as long as their "stay honest, love God and don't do Drugs" message is not too dominant...this one was ok in my book. Cliches over cliches but that's a given anyway so I won't complain. I liked the "Heroes" of this Movie a lot. Normally small and unpopular animals (like skunks) are not highlighted in movies like this. I would not buy the DVD but renting it for 3 bucks was ok.
