    ipod corrupted music? ... Help!

So in my itunes it says "your ipod looks like it may have corrupted music", and won't let me add or erase any music to my ipod.

    fawk

On my ipod it doesn't display any of the music I have put on it, despite the fact that it does say that the ipod is full under the "settings" and "about" menu tab on the ipod.

I tried reseting it and restoring it, but neither did anything. Before this I also tried data doctor recovery freeware applications but they don't seem to work.

Anyone know any free data recovery applications for ipods that worked well for them?
    Thanks.

There's a bunch of stuff on Google but sorry, never used any of them. Might help if you told us which ipod model you have.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

man i only had my ipod for a year before it crapped out, the hard drive went bad on mine too. started getting songs playing incorrectly and other tunes splicing themselves into my dj sets etc...i was able to run a disk check on the drive a couple of times, but when i saw bad block errors i knew i was done for.

if you have it formatted for ntfs i think you can just plug it in and have it disk check it?

^^^ If you have it disc enabled you can go to disc verify and repair in disc utilitys.

Why is it they only seem to last for a few days after there warranty, questions must be asked.
