not one to vote but seeing as this meant so much to us and the reactions we got from this one off crazy 3 hour sonic medley - was sent this link this morning from radio one and whilst I have been very anti voting for a lot of things, I think this is a worthwhile and genuine opportunity to recognise a lot of outstanding music that has been aired on radio one

of course we would love to have your votes for our SOS essential 3 hour mix we did back in March and wanted to reach out to all the incredible support from everyone that we have had

there hasnt been a good essential mix this year in my eyes, its been pretty poor all ytear but i,m looking forward to adam beyers

I disagree. There has actually been a bunch of great EM?s this year, and in fact, SOS?s was the best, for me.

And no, I?m not saying it just because it was Demi who posted this..

The Francois K one also springs to mind, and Booka Shade, the James Holden/Nathan Fake one, Ame, Nic Fanciulli...those were the top ones for me, and all of them really, really good.

have not heard the SOS mix but getting it now... in otehr respects, my fav mixes this year would have to be Francois K, Damian Lazarus, Ame, and Alex Smoke's was really good.

Francois K's wasn't bad.

really enjoyed the SOS one, got my vote, by a long shot, closely followed by lexicon avenue's scott bradford

however, i have to admit in general i was generally disappointed with the emix this year.

just gone a bit stale for my liking!!!!

only problem is that the repeat slot is only 2hrs so if they re-air the SOS mix then they'll have to chop off an hour!
