im sure this is old news but i only learned of it last week. and i tell you it came in handy during that party in pensacola last weekend when we needed a radio shack.

say you are looking up a restaurant, strip club, movie theater, whatever

go start a new text message on your phone and type in whatever place of business you are looking up. in this case i will use Office Depot

type the text message according to your city like this...

Office Depot,Tampa,FL

and text it to: googl (46645)

....and nearly instantly you will get a return text with the address and phone numbers of all locations of the store. i thought this was an awesome lil trick. it only costs you the price of one text. or will count as one text if you have a bulk rate.

this is awesome! I use this almost daily. you can also check:
local listings
weather
sports scores
movie times and locations
stock quotes
glossary
zipcodes
translations
driving directions
web snippets
Q & A
area codes
froogle
calculator
currency converter

this doesn't work on all wireless providers tho. if you use directory assistance on your cell, you should defo call your provider to see if they offer this.

yes and if this does not work, I use a free 411 service that really works well, its ad surpported but free (yes, free).
