Re: Slitney Spears [NSFW]
I?m not gonna comment on the whole "whore/cokehead/yeast-infected" stuff because I honestly don?t give a flying shit about it.
But I still come to this place for the music, and to see anyone here saying or remotely implying that K-Fed is an artist, or that he is talented is an offense to anyone who?s ever used music as a form of expressing his feelings, opinions, or as a form of catharsis.
"His" music is not art, it?s a product, created by marketing experts out of statistics, targeted at specific demographics, if hair-metal was popular right now, that?s what he?d doing, if polka was popular, that?s what he?d be doing, he?d be doing whatever is popular at that given time, because it?s just another means of supporting his well-being, status and way of life, music is only important to him until he gets in the movies or whatever. Vanilla Ice did rap when rap was getting big, he did nu-metal when nu-metal was big, was he talented, was he an artist? Please...
I?m ready to admit that he (or whatever managers or the like that live off of him) is a smart guy for jumping on anything that will get him in the public eye (he recently appearded on a couple of WWE fights just to get slammed and get publicity for this record, for example), but how is he different from anyone who?s ever fucked anyone up at their workplace to get promoted or any girl who?s ever sucked some politician/CEO?s dick to get noticed? Well, maybe there?s some art in giving a good blowjob...
He?s an opportunist, a careerist, and maybe that?s his merit, but that doesn?t make him talented, that doesn?t make what he does "art", and that?s an insult to anyone who?s ever bled or suffered for his art and self-expression.
So no, he does not earn my respect, and yes, I?ll call him a worthless leech any time I please.
Not like anyone (especially K-Fed) gives a fuck, but that?s where I stand and you can preach as much as you want. Like I feel I sorry or sympathize...
