Used to live there - cheap housing but nice, traffic, restaurants especially Mexican, medicore nightlife, people are generally friendly, oil and gas industry is big there, lots of churches, decent weather except summer which is too hot.

Texas is not somewhere you want to be, although Austin is ok I suppose...

kamal, the girls in houston are outstanding and its always hot in houston, so they always wear their skimpy outfits

MWWT - there is a lot to do in houston bro. i grew up between there and new orleans, mostly in houston. not all of us can rap as good as eminem like the white boy above, but there's lots of shit to do whatever you like doing. its such a big city, you have everything but the weather does get ridiculous in the summer with the heat and humidity. if you need any help finding a place or want to know anything about certain areas, i'll be happy to help you out. i mostly lived north houston in the suburbs in and around spring.

i'll admit the southern belles in atlanta are just as good though. just in general, after living in atlanta now for 4 years i prefer atlanta over houston. but houston ain't bad. if you work downtown, there are great little areas to live just outside that area. and next year they'll have the baseball team that knocks the cards out of the playoffs, so it should be fun for you to watch that and live in houston
Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?

Supposedly someone over there is paid to help us out in finding a place etc (temporarily), so I'm guessing it won't be too far from the base. Still keepin' my house over here just in case everything goes to shite.

i'm actually in houston right now on business, staying in a hotel right next to the galeria.

my impressions after having spent some time here...its not bad, but its not fantastic either. there are some nice things, like the women and some great restaurants. there is also some bad, like the insane traffic and commutes that people have, as well as annoying rednecks.

There is this idea that its fine to live an hour to an hour and a half away from work here, which blows my mind. why the fuck anyone wants to spend that much time sitting in their cars every day is beyond me. ohhh, and no one uses public transport here, so don't plan on not having a car

i have met some nice people though, and we did go to some nice chill lounges over the weekend, so like i said...its definitely not the worst place you could be moving.

as far as work...what profession are you in? the oil industry is booming, and will be for the conceivable future, unless oil prices take a biblical dive (which is not likely). there are alot of jobs available if you have certain skill sets...

                              gentleman, start your air conditioners!
