    the wallet test

    Webmaster Paul Kinsella conducted an interesting test;
He dropped 100 wallets in front of hidden cameras to see who would return them and who would steal them... He was curious as to how honest people would be and wanted to see how different races, genders and age groups would compare to each other.

    check the results:

interesting, but quite a small sample and hence not very scientific...

this is completely biased in many ways.

The biggest influence that is not looked at is Socioeconomic status. IF people have less money coming into their household, then its hypothesized that they are more likely to steal. That factor has nothing to do with race or gender. ANd its not controlled for.

I cant be arsed looking at all of the info - but it looks like the location of drop was changed too - sometimes parking lot, sometimes store front - so that is likely to change the outcome too (or at least its an uncontrolled factor)

        Pile of shite.

            Re: the wallet test

this is bullshit....take a look at the number of blacks and the number of white...clearly different, and would result in unfair percentages me thinks...if they tested the same number of black people and the same number of white people, then i would consider this to be fair...but its not

Of the 100 people tested -
            77 were white and
            23 were black:

            White People:
Of the 77 white people tested:
79% (61) were honest and returned the wallets.
21% (16) were dishonest and kept the wallets. Black People:
Of the 23 black people tested:
57% (13) were honest and returned the wallets.
43% (10) were dishonest and kept the wallets.
Summary: The average black person tested was over twice as likely to be dishonest then the average white person tested.

Actually, your post is full of more BS than the survey results.

Stop trying to discount it any way possible by making claims that aren't credible.
