i dont like to take stuff like that though... not even aspirin. although i'll probably have to in this situation... not the type of thing i would take for recreational purposes.

i've had quite a few root canals and they usually don't hurt one bit, but take the meds home. the percocets rock. take one with a few drinks, seriously. nice relaxed buzz.

dont drink with Acetaminophen in your system, you can die from liver failure really easily

I've had 2 root canals in the past 6 months... one of them just a month ago. Also have had 3 crowns this year, with a fourth expected for the last root canal. Root canals and crowns usually come hand in hand... have they priced that out to you yet? they're usually an additional $900

yeah... its about $800 for each... insurance covers 80% of the RC but only 50% of the crown... so the $650 i mentioned is about $400 crown $250 RC. could be worse obviously.

i also need 2 fillings at a later date, but those are only $20 each for me.

on tuesday itll be the RC, and the foundation for the crown. the problem is that i had a filling come out a while back and didnt have insurance... basically a hollow tooth for about a year... and he said they *should* be able to save it... so knowing my luck they wont be able to anyway... bet i still get charged for the lot anyway! (extracting the tooth would have been $225 before insurance, but i want to keep it if possible obviously)

what i've found is that my insurance company gives root canal free of charge... because it's periodontal work(I think that's what it was classified as) they covered it and didn't deduct it from my total premium. you may want to check out how they handle root canals. if you're lucky it may not get deducted from your total allowed insurance.
