seemed like the last few years they were getting a bit closer to the dance music we all love so much, but this year not so much. Not altogether horrible either (see Buick Project remix of damage 
) But what I learn from this list for the most part is you need some major label support in order to get on the list:
Here's what they call dance awards:
Best Dance Recording (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances. Vocal or Instrumental. Singles or tracks only.)
