    Grammys...

seemed like the last few years they were getting a bit closer to the dance music we all love so much, but this year not so much. Not altogether horrible either (see Buick Project remix of damage ) But what I learn from this list for the most part is you need some major label support in order to get on the list:

Here's what they call dance awards:

Best Dance Recording (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances. Vocal or Instrumental. Singles or tracks only.)

-Depeche Mode - Suffer Well (Ben Hillier, producer; Steve Fitzmaurice & Ben Hillier, mixers) Track from: Playing The Angel [Sire/Reprise/Mute]
-Goldfrapp - Ooh La La (Goldfrapp, producers; Mark "Spike" Stent, mixer) Track from: Supernature [Mute]
-Madonna - Get Together (Madonna & Stuart Price, producers; Mark "Spike" Stent, mixer) Track from: Confessions On A Dance Floor [Warner Bros.]
-Pet Shop Boys - I'm With Stupid (Trevor Horn, producer; Robert Orton, mixer) Track from: Fundamental [Rhino Entertainment]
-Justin Timberlake & Timbaland - Sexy Back (Danja, Timbaland & Justin Timberlake, producers; Jimmy Douglass, mixer) [Jive Records/Zomba Label Group]

Best Electronic/Dance Album (For vocal or instrumental albums. Albums only.)

    -Goldfrapp - Supernature [Mute]
-Madonna - Confessions On A Dance Floor [Warner Bros.]
-Oakenfold - A Lively Mind [Maverick]
-Pet Shop Boys - Fundamental [Rhino Entertainment]
-Zero 7 - The Garden [Atlantic]

This is the only award that even came close:

Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical (A Remixer's Award. (Artists names appear in parenthesis for identification.) Singles or Tracks only.)

-Mary J. Blige - Be Without You (Moto Blanco Vocal Mix) [Geffen Records]
-Tiefschwarz & Tracey Thorn - Damage Thorn (Buick Project Remix) [Fine/Four Music Productions]
-Beyonc? - Deja Vu (Freemasons Club Mix - No Rap) Russell Small & James Wiltshire, remixers [Columbia/Sony Urban Music]
-Coldplay - Talk (Thin White Duke Mix) Jacques Lu Cont, remixer [Capitol Records]
-Bob Sinclair - World Hold On (E-Smoove Remix) [Ultra Records]
"Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
    Dance like nobody's watching.
    Sing like nobody's listening.
Live like it's Heaven on Earth."

Where's the ever present Deep Dish
You mean that Party all the Time rmx
is not worthy of grammy nomination status

Noticed drunk women at nightclubs, love Sexy Back
    Heats em right up
So of course it gets my vote

    1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
    2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
    3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
    4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

    Am I close here?
