Druggy thieves tried to snort a bag of powder the found in Dee Blyth's living room - not realizing it was the ashes of her dead DOG.

The burglars thought they had hit the jackpot when they saw the pale coloured powder marked "Charlie" - slang for cocaine - in a pot on the pet-lover Dee's mantelpiece.

But they were unaware the pot was an urn and the "drugs" really the remains of her beloved Newfoundland Charlie, who died in 1997.

I have my golden retriever from when I was a child. I ended up taking it last year when my mom and stepdad divorced... they both said "I don't want it" and said they'd throw her away if the other didn't want her, so my mom came to me crying asking if I wanted our dog of 14 years. now she's sitting in the top of my closet. I loved her, but don't know what the hell I'm doing with her ashes other than keeping my mom from that much more pain during a divorce
