That doesn't entitle you to steal from the artists you like. Not trying to preach, but believe it or not these guys actually feel the pinch from piracy.

honestly, i havent boughten a cd since middle school and i have never boughten a dvd and i watch a shit load of movies, im sorry if you think im a dick but im not going to pay for something i dont have to, welcome to the interweb i say to myself. I dont know the piracy laws in the uk but im pretty sure you cant re broadcast radio shows with out paying some type of royalties to the corporate owners so shouldnt you feel jsut as bad "pirating" digweeds kiss mixes, i know i dont.

this is an age old argument.

i take advantage of the internet as often as possible. and when my pocket allows me to purchase a cd, i do it.

Digweed has thanked [ms] on his show. John and Kiss both know we're here. Technically this is extending the broadcast reach of Kiss in a not for profit environment. If I was to travel to the UK all the way from Australia, which radio show do you think I'll be first tuning in to when I get there?

Don't worry, I used to be proud like you of the fact that I had so much pirated music and movies on my PC. I grew out of all that rubbish though. In a few years I'll be running solely on free software (Linux) to escape the clutches of something I don't feel I should pay for. That's the proper way of doing it.

sure digweed shows props to his fans on ms but im not talking about the artists, im talking about the brocast corperations that get money from thos god aweful commerical breaks. once there are set US and international laws combating and procecuting soulseek and EDM im not going to stop. Its basically why i got cdjs to begin with.

im not proud im just feel lucky that i can listen and watch everything that artist and directors have to offer all over the world and its all at my finger tips. If it wasent for downloadable music, i wouldnt be able to enjoy nearly as much art that the world has to offer. 20 bucks for a 80s pop cd, no thankyou.

How about putting it this way, as a consumer in a capialist market, im gonna find the cheepest and easyiest way to get what i want. Intil it changes, in moign to do what is best for my needs.

I'm gonna have to give it another listen when I get home methinks. Still not familiar with it enough yet.

My favourite part of the whole things is during the live footage he's included. Without giving too much away for those who are yet to see it... the part where it goes all dark, and then the ants come

Really makes a difference to listen to the DVD with a nice 5.1 sorround system. It becomes a lot more interesting.

I would dare to say that the surround mixed music will create new incentives to buy music. I´m looking forward to get BT latest album, which by the way I loved.

LTJ Bukem was meant to do one something like 4 years ago, I guess it totally fell through :/

I think it's a great idea, as logn as it's done right. This is the same thing they say about having a good subwoofer - the trick to having it set up right is to not notice it as being there when listening to stuff on it.

I think the same applies to 5.1 mixes, and Hawtin says something about this on the interview. Don't overdo it, use it but don't abuse it.

May have to check this one out. Hawtin has destroyed everytime I've seen him, but I've never been able to really get into his albums (newer ones anyway). This sounds pretty sweet though.
