    How is club "Fur" in DC?

    jimmy van m is playing there tonight and I was just wondering to expect. how's the soundsysyem? I like club five down there, is it anything like it?

    expect a new looking big club with shitty staff and over priced drinks - much bigger than five
    do take your ticket on will call and try to talk to the glow people (not the fur staff) at the entrance, they're always nicer and won't give you shit.
    bartender at the right of the dj booth is Melissa, very nice
    it will be crowed so get there early
    to get there, metro and walk or cab - it is one of the shittiest neighborhood in DC so don't park your car anywhere. behind the club, there's a parking that isn't too expensive
    they have afterhours in the mink room but they charge an arm and you nuts to get in and isn't that great
    I like that club - good club experience for dc, better than five imo, but nothing to do with "european" kind of places.
