Help Me Name My New Dog

We're rescuing a Yorkshire Terrier this weekend. We're trying to come up with a good name for him, preferably something distinguished-sounding to complement our current dog, Truman (BTW, our current dog is named after the Mizzou mascot, not the president, so we're steering clear of presidential names to make sure there's no confusion on that point).

FWIW, although this picture is not actually a picture of him, he looks very, very similar to this picture I stumbled upon:



Anyone have any thoughts?

Barkley - lots of ways to look at this one- Barkley was Truman's vice president (even though your dog was named after Mizzou Truman, still, kinda interesting), and Yorkie's bark a lot, soooo...yeah. Barkley.

Humpy - Dunno, just sounds really funny.

Norman - aka - norm stewart (although, this could get kinda messy when you're calling Truman, which sounds a lot like Norman, and vice versa...maybe just go with Stewart, or Stewie. lol.)

Gibson - greatest pitcher ever (imo anyway)

Clark - as in Jack Clark. Ohh, lol, Andujar!! no, kidding.

Porter - kinda sad tho, since Daryl had a lot of problems and died early.

going with former Cards that sound like dogs- Forsch, Tudor, Sutter ...

Actually, Sutter kinda looks like a Yorkie -



Whitey - although, given you live in the city, probably not the best name to be yelling outside if he ever gets out.

Edny - That little fucker from UCLA that kept us out of the final four. One of my friends had a Yorkie that always bit my leg, and i always said, "You little fucker!"

Peeler - and now i'm just starting to name mizzou basketball players from back in the day. I better stop before i get to the two dumb 7 footers when we were there.

Gibson - greatest pitcher ever (imo anyway)

Gibson was great, but Dock Ellis was better for one reason... Pitching a no-hitter on LSD. I couldn't even tie my shoes on LSD, let alone pitch a near-perfect game.
