you go girl!! still waiting to hear more Miami Bass in those mixes... and what about those Kris B exclusives?? they won't be as cool in your mix after they come out and EVERYONE else is playing 'em
I did not miss this in the other section, i am using this thread to express you how much we loved the Holodays release. Pure, fine & top notch christmas treat!
I had to do this, really! I closed the MS window and was doing some desk work when i felt the urge to came back and post this:
Browsing through your site, i came across to a remix of yours to a Shakira's tune...
I downloaded it for mere and pure musical curiosity. I can't believe what you did to that track!
Shakira is not my favourite female composer/performer, i like her honesty in what she does (artistically talking): the lyrics, musical arrangements and other few things. I believe she is a person with a holisitic vision of what she understands for art, but never thought i'd be so happy to hit the play button just to listen to a track from her.
You guys turned that track into a gorgeus-melodic-very enjoyable piece, the voice samplers and the way you manipulated them is brilliant! This is a RARE and FINE production worth to be signed (regardless it is Shakira). I believe you did this just for fun, well, the funny time turned to be a delicate deconstruction of a dangerous and risky selection (because of its pop nature), in order to become a quality reconstruction, unique layers of sounds turned this track into a richer composition.
I had to play it again, in order to listen to it carefully, i didn't believe what i was listening to.
Did i mentioned you are a home favourite of us? It means your mixes likes us to the level of listening to them in the car, browsing the net, cooking, hanging around at home...(i guess my wife and i are fans of yours already).
