Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
The 2006 James Holden/Nathan Fake releases on Border Community, and the last 2 Hybrid albums.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
from members... jibs, toasty and mikey poto are always reliable for music that will raise yer eyebrows and get ya grooving.
miroslav has consistently improved his music from what i have heard.
groovenyc is actually madoka, and i HIGHLY recommend trying his stuff out. i love it, and have every fucking thing i can get my hands from mark. fluid, percussive and gorgoeous are the words.
me- see my links, style=all over, different every month, but always kinda proggy, fluid, some techy shit, some breaks, i like to think my mixing is good, and i love obscure shit that will never hit the charts. but dont listen to me, check out my promo links, and see other's thoughts.
and lastly.
dude, make yer own sets.
for 25 bucks a month, you can make 2-3 hours of music you like, mixed the way you opt to. its what i do. and i no longer even desire CD;s or sets. in fact, the only set im trying to find is the booka shade mix that ruby has. other than that, the sets i play are all i need. even if you dont/cant spin, there are a ton of software programs out there for digital mixing that arent ableton priced, but much cheaper and allow for easy mixing.
atomix, mixmeister, audacity, ableton and a few tohers all allow simple CD creation.
your life is an occasion, rise to it.
