"06.10.11 Buzzin' Fly Radio stopping

London, 11h04 , temperature 16°, humidity 73%, cloud. After more than 250 shows over 6 years, the weekly Buzzin' Fly Radio Show is stopping from November 1 2011. Ben Watt, who presented the show for most of its run, handed over to Chris Woodward recently but both have agreed it is time to call it a day. 'It's been great,' says Ben, 'But all good things come to an end. Internet radio was in its infancy when we started, but it's time to let someone else have a go.' Ben will continue his residency on BBC 6Music with the next show on October 30."

Too bad Ben isn't going the distance like Digweed has done with almost 400 shows in the can.

I am assuming we'll keep having the 6 Mixes posted here?

As soon as they surface, last show was stunning. They'll have a rebro in November, then Ben will come back live in January.

It's really sad.

On the other hand we have Ben's residency at 6 Music and Azari & III and Nicolas Jaar doing a show this Sunday. Many of you seem to overlook the 6Mix, but it's usually amazing.

I think we should close this thread now and open a new one for Ben's 6 Mixes as resident dj.

Me too, loved the buzzin fly show but his radio 6 shows offer something different, theres always a few back catalogue, unreleased and some cool artists ive not heard of. And ofcourse always showing support to his wifes work.
