"The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws." - Tacitus (55-117 A.D.) "That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves." - Thomas Jefferson
personally i want to tell ben that his music does change lives for the better, because i will say that if i can pop on his records, put my headphones on and just close my eyes and forget about everytihng else for a few and be at peace he is doing something right. the remix he did of solder me is one of the few tunes i can pop on after a long night and just sit and listen to and love every minute of it.
your life is an occasion, rise to it.

nice read. seems like a very intelligent young man.
his music is very good. and might just change the world for some individuals who hear it.
cant believe that stuff about sudan. we're all so 'protected' here in the states from news such as this.
^^are you saying that hasn't been in the news in the states??
i remember hearing about this a few weeks back maybe a month can't remember.
yep. i hadnt ever heard of such a thing til i read that ben camp write up.
and i do watch the news a lot. i swicth back and forth between the 2 or 3 cnn channels i have, but there inlies another point. our govt is so touchy about the stuff they show us, they feel they want to keep us 'protected' - interpret that however. not saying it hasnt been on the news or in the papers, just that i havent heard of it.
issues like the sudan are being reported in the states...its just sad how no one gives a shit, including the US gov't. George Dubuya would only take interest in the Sudan if he thought he could benefit from liberating it. i love how he says invading Iraq was done to protect the people, yet he hasnt uttered a word about sudan, the congo, or any other area of the world where mass genocide is still occuring. funny, huh?
