    Accessories for Macbook/Pro?

    Hi guys, my ex is in the market to purchase one, and whilst checking out the macbook for her, also came across a host of stuff like screen protectors, keyboard protectors, trackpad protectors, wristpad protectors (looks like mb/p owners cover every inch of their notebooks!) and notebook sleeves.

    I'm 'fraid she's gonna have all these other crap shoved at her by the salesperson when she buys her macbook, so I was hoping the Mac fanatics in here can tell me what is absolutely necessary or what's recommended?

      necessary = what she needs
      unnecessary = what she dont need

      unless its free or comes in some bundle ... 99% of any accessories that the sales guy recommends her getting probably falls under the unnecessary category imo

                  Mac I imagine is just another laptop (I dont own one) so I cant imagine anything else that you would absolutely need. Insurance is defo something you should consider for laptops cause they tend to break soon and most decent electronics retailers will replace it no questions asked

                      i dont think they do insurance for laptops here in singapore unless you are referring to product warranty that Apple provides which mac users have to pay for
