    actually i meant the people would be using the treadmills and bikes, elipticals and what not, and just riding the groove the whole time. but if people wanted to get in front and jam, thats cool too. ( preferably the hot chicks in spandex)

      my idea for a gym is to have regenerative power-- that is to say the gym is powered by the exercise machines themselves; eco-fitness: the more you work out, the more you are helping the environment

        thats funny you mention that. iwas just talking to someone about that the other day. I saw this gym with 50 or so treadmills and I thought about that power generating idea.
        definitely eco friendly.

          i run with an ipod but dont listen to anything electronic for the above reason. hard to get a tempo, pace, & breathing to workout well. mostly easy listening hip hop like tribe, black eyed peas, jurassic, mos def, de la, roots or some sublime type stuff. easier to get into a more tolerable rythym.

          except for when i race, i usually listen to some rawkus dnb to pump the pace.

            i am a fan of the pumping tunes when i use the treadmill as well, when i run outside i dont use anything... last winter desyns balance cd got me through those tough runs!
