starting march 1st, verizon is changing their pay per use charges on text messaging from .10/msg to .15/msg. this is breach of contract on their end, sprint and cingular/at&t have already gone through this in the past few months. if you are interested in canceling service (- early termination fees) you must do so between march 1st and march 15th.

not at all what i am getting at, if you like your verizon service, you can keep it and go to a month by month situation. later, in the event that you need to cancel your service for whatever reason, this will save you $175. if i was in contract with a company, whose service i had no complaints with, i would opt out of contract just to know that i didnt have to worry about it.

if you are unhappy with verizon and want to leave the carrier, you have the option to do this as well.

agree, iphone is the new razr. ground breaking technology now, but by the time it actually comes out, there will be devices far superior. all marketing.

I just want my phone to make phone calls and send text messages. That's it. The cam and mp3 on my current one are nice extra's, but not something I can't go without -I have a friggin' PC for games/work/music and a TV for...watching TV and films. Sheesh.
