I went to this huge 4-in-one club place called Bourbon Street Station here in Jax last night for my birthday party. One of the clubs (the "house" club) called The Blue Room just had James Holden spin there like a month ago. I'm standing at the bar and I look down and see a flyer. Thinking it was gong to be a bunch of local acts I picked it and almost dropped my beer. I guess there is a new Sunday night event going on there and all three of these top-notch acts are going to be there this month, Oct. and Nov. Needless to say I am shocked. I had completly given up hope of any well known DJs ever coming back here. Well...someboby knows someone cause they are definetly coming. I know they are on Sunday nights but I hope some of you will try to make it so I can finally meet and hang out with some of my fellow [ms]ers.

Woohoo!!!! There is something cool to do in J'ville again. The club is decent...no Phazon or anything. A local guy Kinesis was spinning there last night and it was pretty cool. The best time I've had out in Jax in a while. The whole place is frickin' huge. The biggest part (which is about half of the entire building) is (in true Jacksonville style) a country bar called Crazy Horse. In the front is a hip-hop club called Marti Gras and next to The Blue Room is a lounge type place whose name escapes me.
Anyway, I hope some of you will try to make it.
