To not have to pick between the proverbial douche and a turd sandwich? At least as I sit here now, there are a number of candidates that I'd be totally content to have winning in 2008. Things change, of course, but as of right now, there exist scenarios where I'd actually be voting for the person I like more rather than voting against the one I like least.
On the republican side, I'd be happy with Rudy or McCain. Hagel's a free thinker as well, I'd be cool with him. For the Dems, I'd be content with Obama, Edwards, and maybe Biden. Biden wouldn't be my first choice, but the guy has some cajones and isn't afraid to take a firm position.
With the good, though, there is the bad. Here's hoping we're not left to choose between Hilary and Brownback...
