this has to be the funniest, Dominik (red1) is drunk of his ass making typo after typo for his login to ms and has spent the last 40 minutes trying to get on the board....
making it harder is the 15 minute default wait time for more than 5 incorrect tries

Phew... the nightmare is finally over!
I think I have the words Database error burned in to my retinas. The guy next to me at work asked why I looked at an error page so often. :/

Heres a little detail why what happened happened.
We added a new DB to the server which was mounted incorrectly by the OS. As a result, the file system got corrupted and of course as luck would have it, the one KEY table on the database (the posts table) had to get fucked. Not the bloody sessions table, not the search keyword table, none of the other meaningless tables had to get corrupted beyond repair.
I thought I had a backup from Feb 01 but apparently not.
At least we only lost 10 days as opposed to the entire DB. Its been extremely disappointing but I'm only happy to put it behind me. No more screwing with the server (albeit it was meant for the good of the board this time around
)
