lego has fallen off. hard., but anyone remember back in the 90's and 80's when lego used to run shit? I mean every mf season, they would drop some shit that would have you loosing your shit. check this out http://www.lugnet.com/pause/pictures.html my favorite set of all time was the neptune discovery lab, i never had it cuz that shit was $99 and i couldn't afford it as a kid and there was no way my mom was gonna get that for me.

so what were some of the sets you had/liked back when lego was in its prime?

I cant remenber exactly but Lego definitely ruled/rules!! Funnily enough I just dug my huge box of lego out of the loft and gave it to charity last weekend...

my kid growing up had built a whole leggo village in his basement, like a model train set an old guy might have. It was laid out over three ping pong tables. There was lego "grass" and pavement under the whole thing so you couldn't even see the tables. Had a full airport and working monorail as well.


This kid was dork.
