Another cool toy I had when I was a kid, but don't know if it existed elsewhere in the world. They were called connectables, and they were cars which were just a little larger than matchboxes, and you could pull apart all the different parts (front, middle or back) and put them back together in different combos.

For instance you could end up with a stretched limo with jet wings and a pickup truck back. Does anyone remember these? Not quite in the same league as Lego, but I seemed to have a lot of these for some reason.

Yeah, I remember those. Didn't like it tho', Lego was on the top of my list. And asdf, Playmobil isn't half as dope as Lego, nah

Don't know those Syntax, but I remember that my first lega was this one:

I also got the first Space Lego and made a lot of new model with them.
I see no end to creativity with Lego, as long as you have enough of them to do your project.

Lego kicked ass hands down...i preferred Lego's to my Nintendo and probably to my mom, dad grandma all put together...

Yeah, man... Legos were the shit and still are. I remember I use to get punished and that was no TV, Nintendo or going-out. Legos were always there for me.
