not a giant fan now, but damn, when i was growing up, i HAD to watch will the thrill clark play. outside of mattingly, there wasnt a better first baseman from 85-94

still coming down to Sox-Yanks in the East...TO did finish a game ahead last season (first time since 1993 above 3rd place), but always have seemed to fall relatively flat despite making some off-season moves every year. This year they're really gonna need that pitching staff w/o Lily in there. Baltimore, well, they can't get out of that rut they're in...Tampa Bay as well.

I managed 2 Sox games so far this year (sold off a 3rd that I probably won't be able to get to anyway), and will look to get a Yankees game on Friday when those tickets become available...since those are all face values. Everything else is double markup minimum right now. Until demand drops faster then a rock, it'll continue to stay this way and prices go up to keep milking more green out of the fans.
