Made Inn Radio Show On www.justmusic.fm

    :::MADE INN RADIO SHOW:::

A real music radio's real music show: This is Justmusic.fm and the Made Inn Radio Show! I'ts been nearly a year since this show started thanks to our hosts, P?li and Dave Van N.

The two residents are taking care of us on sundays from 8 so we won't be left without fresh sounding, ambitious, futuristic mixes. Their goal , which was floating infront of their eyes and is floatin 'till this day , is to sgow you what DANCE means to them and to show you more and more faces of it- at least that's how they see it.

The Made Inn Radio Show's name became one with the (in classical meaning) progresive music. In the show such artists get a chance to introduce themselfes , whos music is without any kind of convention, are futuristic , unique and of cours ambitious.

Who does'nt want to fall back in todays electronic musics most fresh soundings, who wants to know the most talented freshmen from all over the world, who is open to hear the art in the modern elektroni dance music, who wants to know about everything, what is important and precious in this genre , is a great loss to miss this show!
P?li and Dave Van N are doing a serious research, to find the rear talents from all around the world, and this effort isn't useless. They have been able to introduce countless young talents in the Made Inn Radio show so far.
Of course you can help them in this work : the Made Inn Radio Show would like to give a chance to such inland producers who fell this sounding as their own, what P?li and Dave Van N represent. If you have any questions , thougths or observations drop us a line to the e-mail adress """madeinnradioshow@gmail.com"""

Almost the same time the show begun we launched a party season with the same name. The Made Inn nights guest performers are such foreign dick jockeys, producers,
who became their homecountries brand in music because of their labour.

"Have a nice fili-float!"- the two editor-host of the show: P?li and Dave Van N

Leigh Morgan From Urbantorque In Made Inn Radio Show on the 14-th of january 2007

      Interwiev With Leigh Morgan

MadeInn: Which was your first met with the electronic music?

Leigh Morgan: My first exposure to electronic music, other than 80's pop, was really in the late 80's when acid started to flare up. I wasn't massively in to it then, I was more in the 'Manchester' sound, with bands such as the Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, and New Order, being young I didn't know that all these bands were intrinsically linked to acid house and early club culture.

MadeInn: What did U learn at the University in Liverpool?

Leigh Morgan: I studied Sports Science at University, my main aim was to become a physiotherapist. Very early on I ended up going to Cream, having never experienced a proper club before it was a bit of an eye opener to say the least. This was when I really fell in love with house music and when I bought my first decks, an old pair of belt drive decks, which were a nightmare to learn to DJ on, but if you can DJ with them, you can DJ on anything!

MadeInn: Why did U choose even so the musician carrier?

Leigh Morgan: I chose to get in the music business really after coming out of university and completely changing my mind and what I wanted to do, I always loved music, but never thought about making a career in it. So after university, 3 years of seeing live music, band, clubs etc I knew I had to work in the industry.

MadeInn: Where did U play at first in your life?

Leigh Morgan: My first ever gig was at a student house party in Liverpool, we hired a rig stuck it in the front room, and a few of us played some tunes, even though their weren't that many people there it was really never racking!

MadeInn: U have a lot of to do todays. How many things are U doing simultaneously now? Please, tell me about these! (DJing, Urbantorque, Promoting & Producing, download store, etc)

Leigh Morgan: Mainly running the label takes up most of our time, we don't generally promote club nights any more as we used to, we general now get booked to play rather than promoting the nights ourselves. DJing comes next, and producing a distant third at the moment, due to time restrictions.

MadeInn: How can U make so much things together?

Leigh Morgan: All about organization! Once who have a label set up and running, a lot of admin is involved in running a label, so you need to be organized to make sure you have systems in place, or you'll end up losing money!

MadeInn: How do U feel: have U enough time for DJing?

Leigh Morgan: I haven't had the time for the past 4 years or so, before that I was pretty much DJing every weekend, Fridays and Saturdays, however with the pressures of work I ended up spending less and less time on that side of things, so I let if drift. Over the past year however, I have been doing lots of gigs again, and I am really enjoying Djing again and getting a good response. I have the time to prepare more now and really get to know my records again.

MadeInn: How and with who did U started the Urbantorque Rec.?

Leigh Morgan: Urbantorque was founded by Jason Moore, former resident DJ with Journeys By DJ as the club, then after a while we decided to work together on setting up the label.

MadeInn: Urbantorque is a clubnight?s name too. What is the contact between the label and the party?

Leigh Morgan: Urbantorque was originally started as a club night at Heaven in London, back in 1998, a weekly party on London on Fridays. We had residents Jaun Atkins, Trevor Rockcliffe, Colin Dale, and guest such as Dave Clarke, Justin Robertson etc. On the middle floor we had rotating residents of Wiggle, Tyrant and Friction. The night only lasted around a year due to politics within the club. The label we actually started a few years later in 2001, when we really wanted a creative outlet for all the great music we were hearing.

MadeInn: What?s up with your The Askesian Society project?

Leigh Morgan: I started that up with a good friend of mine Patrick McCourt. We have only really done a handful of projects, but what we have done seems to have done alright so far!

MadeInn: U chose a very interesting name for this project... Why just this?

Leigh Morgan: The Askesian Society was a debating club for scientific free thinkers, which was set up in 1796 in London. We liked the idea of what they did, and the name of course. rumour has it they were the first bunch of people to take laughing gas for 'recreational' purposes

MadeInn: Do you have any other studio projects under way at this time? (out of Society)

Leigh Morgan: Always tinkering with ideas, but production is probably the thing I have the least amount of time for, I certainly do intend to get some new tracks done, but who knows when!

MadeInn: Which styles do U prefer nowadays?

Leigh Morgan: From a DJing point of view, I like all things with a deep electronic flavour, mainly house and techno, from a personal perspective, it doesn't matter what it is, just as long as it's good!

MadeInn: Have you seen a DJ or Band recently which has left an impression? If so who and why?

Leigh Morgan: I saw Primal Scream just before Christmas at Brixton academy, and while they are not bringing anything particularly new to the table, they are just a great band whom I grew up with, and I love their music, and they are still amazing live. DJ wise, the best set I have heard this year was from Funk D'Void at our party at ADE last year, he played a deep set early on, then rocked the place with his own brand of techno, ace.

MadeInn: How was the last year for U?

Leigh Morgan: Last year was a good building year, from the labels point of view we upped our release schedule, started doing parties again, and just signing great music. Obviously highlights such as Francois DuBois 'Blood' still stand out, and I'll be playing that record for ever more!

MadeInn: U will play soon at Justmusic.fm, in Made Inn Radio Show. How could U describe and propose your set?

Leigh Morgan: Deep, atmospheric and hypnotic, which is how I like to play when I am DJing out. I have always been in to emotional music with melody, not just bleeps and beats!

MadeInn: And how could U close this interview?

Leigh Morgan: Well just to say I hope you guys enjoy the music, be great to Dj over there soon!

Sebastian Roya From Connaisseur Records In Made Inn Radio Show on the 28-th of january 2007

              Sebastian Roya "Compresion"
              Released on Connaisseur Superieur

Connaisseur Superieur enters it's third release with the debut release from Sebastian Roya. As one of the most prominent up and coming DJs in the Canary Isles, Sebastian has played many of the main venues and after parties in the region, and it was here he was discovered by Patrick Chardronnet. His rhythmic based production work allow him to create DJ sets entirely from his own work, something he's become renowned for at many parties in the Gran Canaria outback. 'Compresion' is a stunning debut, and another flawless 12" release from this new Frankfurt based offshoot.

The 'Original Mix' is something of a paradox. It's well structured but simplistic arrangement is based around airy drum loops and snares, which together create a pulsing and throbbing nucleus that is the very heart and soul of the track. Its minimalist sounds and laid back groove really brings out the infectious element of this piece of music, and overall it's a rather splendid take on the tribal house theme.

The reinterpretation comes from Rekleiner, the UK contingent of the Connaisseur family who's single 'The State Of Things' launched the Superieur imprint back in the summer. Without a doubt, the trio of Stuart Geddes and the Audiofly duo Anthony and Luca are one of the most consistent and exciting production teams around at the moment, and their remix of 'Compresion' is another delight. Not straying too far from the original canvas, the remix goes much deeper, the groove more hypnotic, and laced with subtle melodies and sweeping ambient soundscapes - the result is a mix that not only sounds spectacular, but would be very much a set piece of any set it is placed into.

Few labels are currently as consistent as Connaisseur. It's success is based on uncovering some of the most exciting talent from around the globe, and nurturing them alongside such established talent as Patrick Chardronnet. Whilst this is Sebastian Roya's debut, I would say it's a safe bet that we'll see him on Connaisseur and indeed elsewhere sooner, rather than later.

Sebastian Roya's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

                  Biography
Fine art is that in which the hand, the head, and the heart of man go together. Remo has been following to the letter the phrase above having become one of the most interesting italian djs, thanks to his talent and charismatic personality. This Italian dj/producers music precedes him and speaks about his world, the path that led him to continuously re-invent his style and to create an innate bond with his public. At the beginning of his career Remo looked as if he was on the path of Hip Hop, when, embraced by the rhythms and lights of Ibiza, being just over 20 years old, he became the dj resident in the roof terrace of Pacha. With passion and determination on his side, Remo started to play in some of the most important clubs in Milan (Italy) until the encounter with the Pervert group, with which an important partnership was soon born : Remo became the resident dj at Pervert Gold, the most sexy and out of the ordinary club night in Italy, which soon opened the gates towards the experimentation of new sounds and enabled him to get in touch with the most important international Djs. Everything changes as time flows by, and so did Remo, performing a metamorphosis in his style which got influenced by more electronic and dark sonorities. Listening and assimilating while creating something unique that reflects what you are, that is the path which Remo chose to give his career a turn by becoming a producer. The dedication, fervour and hard work that are present in everyone that follows a dream all led to the creation of the debut track "Black Sabrina", released on Giant Wheel Records and made together with Get Physical's Chelonis R. Jones, which was immediately played by internationals big djs and become soon an italian smash hit, introducing him to the big audience. His career as a producer proceeds with new releases and with the signature of important remixes such as for Audioflys Inside the Beat and Coolio and Snoop Doggs Gangsta Walk. As dj,he started also important collaborations with djs such as Steve Lawler who brings him as resident at Viva, his night at Ibizas club Space, and with John Aquaviva for whom Remo participates as a guest the Aquaholic nights at Ibizas Privilege. Remo now continues to impress thanks to the incomparable energy that he transmits in his dj sets and the ease with which his music manages to become one with those who listen to it. Speed, immediateness plus the ability to experiment and following new paths, while always remaining faithful to himself, these are some of the elements which combined form Dj Remos artistic DNA.

                          About GEDDES

Through a life surrounded by upfront music, his passion for deep, melancholy and organic sounds and the success of his forward-thinking Mulletover parties Geddes now finds himself at the forefront of London’s underground music scene.

From his early rave experiences to his first DJ gig at 15 to his inspirational trip to the Miami Music conference at only 17, Geddes’ visions are now becoming apparent and real as a successful DJ, producer and promoter.
Following his initial outings as a deep house DJ, Geddes was captivated early on by the electronic sound now paramount in today’s dance scene and while his tastes developed he found himself carving out his own identity and playing the deeper side of techno and tech-house, somewhat ahead of his time.
Frustrated by a lack of avenues to express himself as a DJ, Geddes, so confident his sound was the way forward, decided to take the ultimate risk and programme his own parties the way he wanted and his vision became a reality through the special project that we know as Mulletover.
Mulletover’s success as one of the must go attractions on London’s throbbing party scene has seen him rise to international prominence by being booked to play clubs like Berlin’s Watergate, hosting the Discoteca room at ‘We Love’ at Space in Ibiza throughout last summer and appearing as a guest DJ on Anja Schneider’s ‘Dance Under The Blue Moon’ radio show.
The steep rise of Geddes’ DJ career can also be accredited to his first ventures into the world of production under his Rekleiner guise, alongside fellow London producers Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito. Rekleiner’s smart productions have been can be found on labels like Frankfurt imprints Connaisseur Superiur (‘The State Of Things’) and Maschine (‘Future Past’) and Berlin’s uber-cool Moodmusic (‘Somewhere’). With Rekleiner growing as a production outfit with remixes and tracks forthcoming and Geddes’ continuing to progress with his now identifiable take on all things deep from the worlds of house and techno, the best is surely yet to come…

MadeInn:How you ended up being a Dj?

Chloe Harris:I started Djing because I had bought records for many years and decided to have a go at putting them together, instead of just playing them. I used to create mix tapes for friends as we all do, and then got booked to play a friends birthday party and ever since i've been lucky enough to continue for 10 years playing music for people.

MadeInn:I saw U like books. What is your favourite? And why?

Chloe Harris:Mmm, I mostly like to read things that I can learn from. History based or informational. I'm not big into fiction. I've read lots about the punk world in the late 70's, which I truly love. And books on production styles and techniques, but for me... the holy grail of 'reading' is fashion magazines. I'm a complete nerd when it comes to fashion and I could tell you what Versace was doing in Summer in 1992, or what Balenciaga is going to do next. The beautiful pieces of art that these people create is bar none my favorite thing to appreciate.

                              MadeInnou U like punk style?

Chloe Harris:Haha. Yes! Very much. One of my favorite bands is the Dead Kennedys. Jello is such a smart guy who's also a smart ass. I like those qualities. He was a great frontman, and even now he's brilliant with his spoken word shows. He's a walking legend. I've also just learned about a new band from London called the 'Xerox Teens'. Thier tune, 'Onkawara' blends The Cure's old school basslines and simple beats with a lovely English Jack Black-sounding singer. I really haven't liked too much music thats come out in the rock/punk world lately, besides The White Stripes, so this is really exciting for me.

MadeInn:Please tell some words about the contact with Progressive-Sounds? U wrote: „It's just a hobby... Really? Or other much more too?

Chloe Harris:Well for the main three of us:- Chad Harnish, Simon Jones and I, its a hobby first and foremost. We love the music and because of that, we are able to keep the site streamlined with good info. We don't want to follow what other music sites do, we just try to do our own thing. We are rebuilding the site again from the ground up and it will relaunch at the start of April. Over the years we have grown and have expanded and more talented contributors and writers have joined us, and we will be expanding further, developing the brand in other ways in the near future also.

MadeInn:Please, write about your radio shows! (at first about Further and something about your B-Sides...)

Chloe Harris:My first radio show was called 'Further' and it was on Groovetech Radio. I did it for many years and had a great time meeting people all over the world and connecting with them through music. When the demise of Groovetech started happening, the radio was shut first so I wanted an outlet to do something else. I had talked to Sam, the owner of Proton Radio and we'd talked about starting a show that was different to what 'Further' was. I chose to build a show around electronic, idm, ambient, spaced out music for minds to melt into rather than dance to. It's a very freeform show and I've had some great guests such as Sean Cusick, DJ Three, c79, Staple and have been teaming up with Fabric to showcase thier new releases on thier label. I had Marco Carola and Luke Slater on recently and the shows went down a treat. The last radio show I do is on Progressive-Sounds website. Its a short 30 minute mini mix of upfront and unreleased tunes. Its just a promotional tool for the music we all enjoy mixed by me.

MadeInn:I see: U like every good music. Anyway: what is your favourites in your DJ sets nowadays?

Chloe Harris:Well I play a lot of various styles so it really depends on the time of night or the sort of set I'm booked for. I love playing warm up as I think its such a challenge compared to peak time. I enjoy them both, but warm up takes more time because you have to constantly be thinking about not playing too hard too soon, and how to gradually get more and more people into the mood. I've recently been into a lot of melodic chuggy trancy techouse. The Guy Gerber & Chaim remix of Paul Nazca - Legende sounds ace on the floor. It's spooky synths sound lovely with chuggy drums. OMB - Taj Mayer on Frame is a sweet journey through bouncy bass and cute little synths. And the Satoshi Fumi remix of Sian - Juggernaut on Connect Four is just sublime. I have a new chart up on my myspace if anyone wants to have a gander. www.myspace.com/djchloe

MadeInn:What tune has been doing the damage for you of late and why?

Chloe Harris:I think my biggest tune right now is Junk Science - Troll (Eelke Kleijn Remix) [Pangea]. Eelke is by far one of my favorite producers. The blend of progressive house with techy house and spacey ambient elements is just perfect. His basslines are so powerful in a big room. He's very talented.

MadeInn:U have a lot of gigs recently. Could U say some of these places? Which was the best for U?

Chloe Harris:I really enjoyed going out with Diggers on the Transitions tour. We went to quite a few places, but I really enjoyed DC. The vibe was incredible, John played for many hours and since the club was closing the people just seemed up for it from the moment they walked in. I also played in New York recently and fell in love with it. What a great bunch of people. They love thier beats and they know good music, so as a DJ I think you need to really do something interesting for them. And lastly I have to mention all of Mexico. I've played in over 10 cities and everytime I go back, the parties get bigger, the vibes are stronger and those people party party party. They never stop and they smile the whole time. But to be honest, I really enjoy travelling to different countries, meeting and connecting with people through music. It's my favorite part of my job.

MadeInn:Here comes the Miami WMC again soon. Will U there too?

Chloe Harris:No I'm not going this year unfortunately. I'd like to but I have a lot of things I'm focusing on right now and I really need to finish up my productions and I'm in the process of setting my own record label up also. I hope everyone has a blast for me though!!!! Hehe.

MadeInn:What about music you are producing? Do you have any releases soon?

Chloe Harris:Yes in the spring I will have my first release out on Mashtronic's record label. I'm really excited about it and I hope people enjoy it. It's techy spacey and groovy with sweet synths and a very hooky middle.

MadeInn:How could U describe who is Chloe Harris (in private and in „official places”)?

Chloe Harris:I'm a funny person that enjoys life to the fullest.

MadeInn:It will be soon your first time in Hungary? Please tell us some words to closing this interview!

Chloe Harris:It's actually my second time in Budapest. I played there a couple years ago with Dave Van N. Great DJ and what a beautiful place. Really enjoyed going to the Buda Castle. Sooooo much history. I really love the buildings there. So lovely dark and gothic. And there are these AMAZING vanilla milkshakes!!! They are truly incredible. I had the best time in Buda, I'm very excited to get back.
