Armada Music brings together superstar DJ and A&R man Armin van Buuren and top artists from the label, Markus Schulz, Matthew Dekay, and Rank 1, to downtown Miami’s newest addition Twilo Miami. The emphasis of the club, like its New York City namesake, is dancing and the dancefloor boasts a polished wood floor and a full floor-to-ceiling LED wall that pulsates with precision programming.

Global DJ Broadcast host Markus Schulz has been very busy in the studio lately and is already gearing up for his new artist album. With his recent remixes of “Never Be The Same Again” featuring Carry Skipper and Andrew Bennett’s “Menar”, he has already started a buzz in 2007. One of the fastest rising stars in the world Matthew Dekay joined the Armada family with his mix compilation ‘Trousy’. In the studio, top trance producers Rank 1 are working on their second artist album and are currently celebrating their hit single with Armin van Buuren vs. Rank 1 feat Kush “This World is Watching Me”. The video was filmed during the second edition of the major Armin Only event at Rotterdam’s with over 12,000 visitors.

Founded in June 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis, Amsterdam-based Armada Music is a collection of labels, artist management, DJ bookings, publishing, and music and events among its strengths. The parent label currently has 13 different sub-labels representing every type of music from Trance to House. "It's not that it's important to have many different genres under one umbrella," Maykel explains, "It's just important to be able to release quality music. It basically means we can release a house track or a techno track - whatever - if we love it, then we have the opportunity to release it."

The Armada stable is also a formidable force in the events arena, hosting its own stages at widely known events. The Armada Nights in Holland are legendary and the Armada Night is also a firm fixture on the Ibiza calendar. This summer you can catch Armada every Tuesday at Amnesia with weekly resident Armin van Buuren alongside other DJs from the label. Their mission statement is simple: "We love music! We want to keep doing what we're doing, to continue releasing great music and ensuring people leave our parties with a big smile on their face."
