"We recognize that this isn't every teenager, but for some this passes as amusement."

Seriously WTF What is wrong with these kids? Or better yet, what's wrong with the education they get from their parents??? This is friggin sick!

They had a special on 60 Minutes about this not too long ago. I don't remember what city it was in be three kids ranging from 13 to 17 stumbled accross some homeless guy and started beating the shit out of him and then left. Well over the period of about 5 hours, they went back to this same guy and continued to kick the shit out of him until he was dead. They are now all three on trial for murder. I hope they get the fucking chair! All these types of kids are are pussys with no self esteem and doing things like this makes them feel BIG and BAD! IMO the nothing but coward ass pansies. Also on the same show they were talking about he people are tying up bums whie they are sleeping and taking them to a remote location and from there they tell the bums that they will be killed if they don't fight another homeless guy that they also tapped his hands and kiddenapped him for the same reasons. Called it "BUM FIGHTING". They said must of the time these little punkd video tape it and put it up on the web(I forget the name of the site).

Bum fights/wars was when they found homeless people and asked them if they want to fight for food or alcohol...they were not MADE to fight they chose to do so...most of the time it was for a bottle of whiskey...and then when the guy tried to market the video tapes they all magically turned up dressed in suits and with ambulance chaser lawyers demanding compensation even though they signed release forms...

I mean don't get be wrong i don't support killing homeless people or taking advantage of them but some of them are complete assholes and idiots...there was a guy who tattooed BUM FIGHTS on his forehead for a crate of beer!!! By choice...no one made him do it!

And how do you explain the segment in the bumfights videos where they dress up as Steve Irwin, kidnap a homeless guy and tie him up and put tape on his mouth, drive him around in a van and then "release" him somewhere else? This stuff dehumanises these poor people. I'm sorry but you're fucked in the head if you try and argue these videos as being morally intact. These videos are pure exploitation mate there's no way you can justify it.

As for the article, I couldn't read it all. I read the story of what those teenagers did to the poor guy and was too disgusted to read the rest. I hope they rot in jail.

hey calm down dude...I wasn't trying to justify anything...I'm just saying not everything is as clear cut as that...to say those kids did it because they are fucked up or that the guy organizing bum fights is...
for stuff like that to occur on so many occasions must mean that there is some level of support for it in the society...therefore the moral code is also changing...if you really wanna argue...
i don't necessarily think this, I am only saying once more the world is far too complex to be divided into fucked up people and "normal" people or however you wanna do it good and bad or whatever...
So don't come preaching to me with moral codes and all that bullshit...to be perfectly honest I feel sorry for the poor guys...but so what buhhhuhhh-motherfucking-hhuuu if the govt is not prepared to solve the problem...and any way if you people care about the homeless and are so outraged at those kids and their behavior why don't you say take about 2% of your pay check each month and give it away to a poor guy...i mean you and 20-30 like minded people could help one guy a month???!!!!
