If you love writing, producing, remixing, djing (or listening to) music, then check out remixcompetitions.com

remixcompetitions.com is a new site that will make it simple for musicians to find remix competitions to enter by providing a single, central place for Labels to promote their competitions to a wide, dedicated audience.

Through the this newly remixed material, the site will help to promote exciting, up and coming talent to Record Labels, djs, and other musicians.

The site is due to go live in March (fingers crossed!), so to be kept up to date with the latest info, head off to remixcompetitions.com and join the mailing list.

If you can help spread the word to friends, labels, djs and other musicians that would be great.. And if you feel you have something to offer (either in the way of a competition, advertising, promotion etc) please email me on matt@remixcompetitions.com

This is SPAM... but it's a really cool idea so it stays. If for nothing else, it would be a cool site to get a lot of samples and loops to use, regardless of whether or not anyone entered the competitions. When i see a remix contest, i download the parts and store them on a hard drive for possible future use.

I can see how it would be spam, and being a nuisance really isn't my bag.. so cheers for letting it stay..

The site came about because I got so fed up searching the Internet trying to find competitions to enter.. I figured it would be a good idea to have a central point for labels and musicians to check out what's happening.

Fingers crossed that labels will see the potential in the idea and really get involved with providing competitions.. I believe it would be a great hotpot for talent.

i will cancel my job, so i'll be able to do some remix, it's way cooler than producing your own music
