I'm not sure these chlorine attacks constitute evidence of finding old weapons. The article says the chlorine could be coming from water treatment. If it were Sarin gas, it would be a different story.

Fact of the matter is that the insurgents did raid the Iraqi army depots. Most of the explosives and weapons they use has been stolen from there. Simply because the US military didn't think it was necessary to guard them.

          this assumption is bullshit.

they didnt find weapons here, they found chorline that is used for thier water, which ended up being stolen. that is like saying we found weapons when we raided a metalsmith because the metal they produce ends up in guns.

im sorry, but to all the deny'ers, there were weapons in iraq, and the few ppl who came out about them, ended up dead within a week, remember those two iraqi arifoce pilots who said they were the ones who flew shipment to syria before we invaded, well they were killed, as were their families. and who knows, so far we have unearthed a few planes, tanks, missles, all in the sand, so who is to say that there arent some warheads buried in the sticks of iraq.

but this little chlorine find, it aint shit.

Chlorine was indeed stolen from water treatment plants. Still not sure about weapons in Iraq tho, I won't believe until they show me some real toys instead of the small time catches all the time - the latter ones still have in no way justified this war. In europe most people are quite clear on why they think this whole stinking war happened: oil and geostrategy. The funniest thing is stil that Bush might've gotten more support if he had simply pointed out that the whole situation was making the UNSC look really really bad. Like pussies. Wet, warm pink pussies ready to be fucked by a dictator with a very big dick. 'Cause that is what was happening IMO.

                  Re: Iraqi Chemical Weapons Found

We have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, chemical weapons," Santorum said.

The lawmakers pointed to an unclassified summary from a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center regarding 500 chemical munitions shells that had been buried near the Iranian border, and then long forgotten, by Iraqi troops during their eight-year war with Iran, which ended in 1988.

so um do riot control weapons constitute chemical weapons?
