Yeah, came across that one yesterday (I think). Pretty fucked up if you ask me. Shit like this really motivates people to turn their head and look the other way when someone is crying out for help.
Once again proof of how alienated the judiciary system is.
They should convict the guy for watching porn too loudly i mean kids could hear it and that like disturbing the peace or something...
if they really do convict the guy its pretty stupid...but while studying law I came across a case where a guy was having a heart attack at a bus stop an of duty nurse gave him CPR to help and saved his life, in the process though she managed to fracture one of his ribs and guess how he thanked her for saving his life....he fucking sued her!!! There are some cunt's in the world today!!!

^^^ you got that right my man. I don't mean to bash Americans, but that whole culture of going to court for the most idiotic of reasons will come back like a boomerang on all of us.
In Belgium docs are starting to be reluctant to perform certain risky surgical procedures because they fear lawsuits for malpractice. A friend of mine is a surgeon and when he told me how much his insurance against this shit costs, I nearly chocked in my drink.
Funny you mention the whole cpr thing. I just got done with part 1 of 2 seminars for cpr training at work.
I've taken it before, but I guess its a 'refresher" coarse. Anyway, the instructor did mention we might actually break some ribs by performing the compressions but us "ordinary" people are protected if we would get sued. Court would throw it out.
Its some kind of "good Samaritan" law thing. Only Nurses, doctors, people like that can get sued but they're protected by workers comp / insurance.
yup, its a fucked up get rich by suing world out here in the good ol' US of A.
