As much as Top Gear pisses me off at times with its stupid time fillers i must say this one is awesome.

I would love to know how much they spent on all this. They turned a Robin Relient (three wheeled english car) into a rocketship.

I actually thought this was pretty lame as far as their features go, as did Mr Clarkson...enough to veto the project entirely. The budget must have been tens of thousands . Money not well spent IMO

Well greg most of their timefiller slots are crap but i thought it was impressive the fact they got the thing in the air without exploding.

^^ Yeah, but who's 'they'. The presenters basically gave it to a bunch of tech-heads that knew what they were doing and then did nothing else to help. Throw enough budget into anything and the results are bound to be fairly impressive. I agree that some of their features are shite (e.g. the tarmacing the road one a few weeks ago) but IMO it's a good programme because of the banter, not beacause of what they actually do. Anyway, nothing they do ever again will be as funny as the Redneck incident.

you guys got the BEST car show out there and you complain about it. Just sit back and enjoy. Those guys are great. Been trying to get episodes of it but it's hard to find them.

they were probably notified of the launch...just like when they have the rocket competitions in Kansas every year.
