Please tell me they are going to have a better cover for the cd than that piece of crap photo. Maybe you should get a photo of him outside somewhere like the GU cd's. At least it would make for more interesting artwork for the cd.

I just get tired of the lame ass cd covers that dance music always has.

maybe without socks? this should be a stellar mix...luke never disappoints, and always puts so much effort into the selection of his tracks for these mixes...can't wait for this one...

looking forward to some toronto dates in the upcomming months...

That's the "look" of the Balance compilations. All their releases have had similar covers. Hey at least it's not James Holden staring out at you this time.

Hi all,

recieved my copy from www.play4me.com.au today.

CD1 starts very well, but from track 4 to 8 it?s got a big hangover.
Boring housy sounds. After that it?s listenable, must give it a second try.

CD2 is melodic-pseudo-progressive-house. Not really my cup of tea.
Dunno where I would listen to this. For a sunny afternoon it?s too
melodic/fast and if I?d play it for a party-warm-up then people would
probably leaving my house...

Must really give CD1 a proper second listen, it seems to be the better one
of both.

What?s up with all that melodic sounds these days? Renaissance?

I've been playing this for the past 3 weeks (a ?5 e-bay promo bargain !) - it grows & grows on you, and I can see me digging this out in a few years and it still sounding fresh.

i think every balance cd should have james holden staring you down on the cover, no matter who the dj is for the actual release.

Haven't heard the cd, but picked up a lot of these tracks online. A lot of them are 1-2 years old suprisingly.
