i want to be able to copy some .avi files onto a dvd so that i can play them on my dvd player at home. Can anyone recommend some decent software to do this?

if you have a dvd played that will play divx discs, all you need to do is burn a data dvd with the avi files in the disc.
Don't know about any other way. -

I also know of a .mov to .avi file converter that works great for putting those quicktime movies into avi files so you can watch them on your dvd.Comment
