oh no, you are completely wrong there. we learned that when fighting a war, you cant obey every little bitch law from the international courts on warfare. think about that, rules of warfare. oxymoron to the N'th degree. if we abandoned these retarded rules we have to follow (torture, civilian treatment, martial law, detainment, and many many more). we could have the war wrapped up. and if the world at large had a pair of balls, they would have found OBL a long time ago. but dont think the preceding sentence means that gitmo is a solution it isnt, we should not hold those people, we should have shot them dead when they were shooting at us and avoided the whole situation. go find bin laden's extended family, grab all the women and kids, kill half and tell OBL he can end it now. same for the taleban and iraqi insurgents.

hmmm, most of those "bitch" laws were layed down by us... after WWII itself

As for OBL's extended family, didn't we fly a bunch of them out of the country after 9/11?

It's obvoius that America and Israel are selective in the laws that they enforce when it comes to combat and 'deniable' operations. It's fair enough, if i was in the firing line then the rule book would go out the window! However.

America is the most well equiped and technologically advanced army in the world, they are also considered to be the worlds only superpower.

The USA has a responsibity to ensure that they fight fairly and honestly, they are a role model for the rest of the world. As such they must show us the way forward. If you don't then you are as bad as the enemy, human life means little to some races and relgion, they see death as an escape from the poverty and hell they experience every single day.

So if you believe that the law doesn't apply to you, then you should torture the men, rape the women and kill the children. Spread the fear, wipe out villages raise the houses to ground and posion the wells. It worked well in Vietnam, should work as well in Iraq.

Is this what you want? Or do you really want to help, to achive your aim of spreading peace and demoracy whilst removing murderous tyrants? Or do you wish to become as bad as Saddam or Idi Amin?

If the USA wanted to capture OBL then they would have done it by now, not just let his rich family fly off and moan about it later.

The rules are there show integrity, to show that you can murder people fairly and justly on the battlefield. Without these rules then your as bad as the uneducated, indoctorined rabble that you fight against.
