my secretary's house burnt to the ground last night...
wow, so we are all sitting in the office last night, when the girl gina we have working for us gets on her cell phone and is talking to the daughter of another one of our secretaries.... "leigh is you house on fire? tommy just called me and said you house burnt down."
so she runs out, and i follow her. we run over to kathy's house and the whole house is gone. they lost everything.... they only made it out with thier wallets. all their cars were destroyed, so they cant drive, they were in bed, so they didnt even grab shoes. standing outside in 10 degree weather for 2 hours without shoes.
and they arent even healthy, her husband has Multiple Sclerosis and she isnt any better. but thank god they got out. sucks. i gave them my extra truck just to get around today and a few grand to just get some clothes and food until the insurance check comes in......
jeeez. really sad, but thankful they lived. the place went in the matter of minutes. they were standing there in shock all night...............................
so lemee do your taxes as we are giving 25 bucks for every return we do for the year to the family.
