Both Samy Fresh and Luziver hails from Zurich, Swiss and they met on 2005, and a collaboration was born. Needless to say, that this diversity had melt together. The first project of their collab 'PHONE SEX' was introduce by Helvetica Honco 'BP Zulauf' to us and it was snap up by us. Samy himself has been busy in studio also, with remixes for Mr. Rogers (Sirion Rec), Joachin J (Stranamente Music) and Stereo K (Underground Lessons), Tyre & Tare (Helvetica).
Phone Sex is a cool electro houser style with some rock element in it. Original Mix is for those who prefers bits of cheeky and teaser with the crowds as the track progress to the first breakdown, RING RING and HELLO, Who's Calling Me.. followed up with bits of conversation...and the female vocal sample reaching its climax... dirtyyyyyy.....Filthy Dub uses just bits of the vox sample from the Original and it heads straight into a more tech electro style filled with chunky percussion, grinding and sweeping basslines all over it. This is one big room affair.
Samy Fresh Remix is kinda funky techtribal affair. Lovely congas in the background, sweeping effects, excerpts from some of the original vocal sample, but still on 4:4 tip. Dj Sonny of Zouk Singapore does us the honour as the first Asian producer to be on Redflux Elektrika. He has already has releases out on SAW and Cubic and on this remix, he delivers a techy electro with bits of minimal influence in it. Detailed percussion and drum programming, synth hooks that keep on teasing you without losing its momentum. All in one, this is a release for those looking for extra flavours.
