The first few Kiss shows you can tell are not live because some of the songs arent even mixed.
I know John is an excellent mixer but you could tell when he played a live show because you could hear the pitch bending at least a couple times throughout. The ones that weren't live were mixed to absolute perfection.
What I'm saying is there had to be some involvement of computers in the whole process somewhere. I mean if he was on tour and playing vinyl back then how did he get new stuff to play every week and have it perfectly mixed for the show? I'm not trying to bash the theories offered so far, but I'm just curious how it all was done.
